This is Avie. Avie is short for Aveline. If you can guess the pronunciation AND the origin of the name you are a much smarter individual than I. I will say this, though: her name matches her disposition- beautiful and sweet.
Little Avie and her mum and dad braved the cold for this shoot and with only one break for jumping in the car to warm up and a coffee purchase, Avie and her folks managed the cold like champs!

Not unlike most 6 month olds, Avie was very interested in her shoelaces!

At one point she got a little lift from dad!
One beautiful family.
Thank you Avie for being such a great sport and I am sincerely looking forward to getting to watch you grow and to get to document it in the process! Stay tuned for future images of Miss Aveline!
With love,
Sarah

Such a beautiful name for a beautiful girl.. However, what is the proper pronunciation? ae-v-uh-l-ee-n? Ai-vah-leen? Ava-lyn? a-va-line (rhymes with madeleine)? They are all beautiful and the spelling is divine.
*hopefully I get this right* It is pronounced a.vuh.lean (“A” like the a in apple). Avie then, in this case, is pronounced like Abbey but with a “v.” It is one of the most unique names I’ve heard in a long time and I thought it was just so pretty!
Best,
Sarah
